Are you ready to make a positive impact for environmental and community development in Armenia? We are looking for an experienced, dedicated professional who inspires both young and adults about environmental awareness and sustainable community practices. As an Education and Training Officer at FPWC, you will create and implement educational trainings, workshops and meetings within the framework of our projects.

 

Your key responsibilities will be:

 

Curriculum Development:

  • Design engaging curricula for different age groups, emphasizing environmental conservation and community development.
  • Incorporate innovative teaching methods for effective learning experiences.

 

Training Delivery:

  • Conduct workshops and seminars on environmental sustainability and community resilience, with collaboration of our Conservation Manager and other project staff members.
  • Foster inclusive learning environments to encourage active participation.

 

Community Engagement:

  • Collaborate with local leaders and organizations to understand community needs.
  • Organize outreach events to promote environmental awareness and community involvement.

 

Monitoring and Evaluation:

  • Implement monitoring mechanisms to assess program impact.
  • Collect feedback for continuous improvement of educational initiatives.

 

Partnership Development:

  • Build partnerships with educational institutions, NGOs, and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with experts to enhance program content and reach.

 

Resource Management:

  • Efficiently manage educational resources for maximum impact.
  • Develop and maintain a resource library to support ongoing education efforts.

 

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records of activities, participant progress, and outcomes.
  • Prepare regular reports for project stakeholders.

 

Your Qualifications and Skills:

 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in developing and delivering engaging curricula and educational materials tailored for various age groups, with a focus on environmental conservation and community development themes.
  • Effective Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities to conduct workshops, seminars, and outreach events, as well as for collaborating with local leaders, organizations, and stakeholders.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to foster inclusive and participatory learning environments that encourage active engagement from diverse audiences, including youth and adults.
  • Project Management Experience: Skills in planning, organizing, and implementing educational initiatives, as well as familiarity with monitoring and evaluation practices to assess program impact. Strong attention to detail in maintaining accurate records of activities, participant progress, and program outcomes, as well as preparing regular reports for project stakeholders.
  • Passion for Education and Environmental Conservation: Genuine enthusiasm and commitment to promoting education, environmental awareness, and sustainable community practices.
