SunChild 8th International Environmental Festival calls for young and enthusiastic artists (individuals and/or groups) to nominate original Environmental Art projects for the Environmental Art Competition Programme of the Festival. Types of the projects may include but not be limited to representational artworks, remediation projects, land art, recycled art, nature-inspired sculptures, ecopoetry etc.
The festival will take place in the village of Vardahovit (Rose Valley), Vayots Dzor, Armenia, on 20-22 of July 2018.
The deadline for applications is June 20, 2018.

This is a unique chance to imprint your eco-art piece and contribute to the nature conservation in one of the oldest countries in the world. Come explore the stunning nature of Armenia, experience ancient culture and diversely delicious cuisine. Upon request, limited funding is available for travel and accommodation expenses.
SunChild International Environmental Festival has been organized annually since 2007. The festival program includes wildlife and environmental films from all over the world, workshops, exhibitions, media campaigns and other events designed to raise awareness on environmental issues, promote responsible behavior and celebrate the deep human-nature connection.
SunChild 8th International Environmental Festival is implemented in frames of the “EU4Tourism: Community-driven rural tourism and cultural activities in Gegharkunik and Vayots Dzor marzes” project in partnership with the World Vision Armenia.
