An Eco-Partnership Brought to Life: Growing a Greener Future Together

Recently, employees of Ucom once again joined Arevordi Environmental NGO and its partner, the Foundation for the Preservation of Wildlife and Cultural Assets (FPWC), this time taking part in a tree-planting initiative at the Urtsadzor Eco-Educational Center.

The tree planting is part of a year-long environmental initiative launched earlier this year with Ucom’s support and continuing through the end of the year. The programme aims to plant approximately 10,000 trees across Armenia, contributing to nature restoration and the strengthening of local ecosystems.

Commenting on the initiative, Ralph Yirikian, CEO of Ucom, noted that when people plant trees with their own hands, a genuine connection with nature is formed, along with a sense of responsibility toward the environment. He emphasized Ucom’s commitment to supporting projects that contribute to the protection of Armenia’s nature and the restoration of ecosystems.

Ruben Khachatryan, Director of FPWC, highlighted that the collaboration with Ucom combines hands-on restoration work with FPWC’s eco-educational mission. He expressed gratitude to the partners for their systematic and long-term contribution to the preservation of Armenia’s wildlife and natural heritage.

Together, FPWC and its partners continue to cultivate a greener, more resilient future for Armenia.
