“The Burning Tree”: film about burning forests of Armenia

“The Burning Tree” short film’s concept addresses the devastating wildfires of the world. Forest fires often derive from human negligent actions, which have gone from partially damaged areas into the cycles of landscapes to catastrophes that carry havoc on the lives of people, ecosystems, and economies.
In an effort to counter the negative consequences of human activity on the environment, local creatives with different artistic backgrounds united to raise awareness toward the urgent need of reforesting lands in Armenia and Artsakh, which became even more urgent after the recent military actions in the region.
