The 12th Sunchild International Environmental Festival has successfully come to a close, leaving a lasting impact on all who attended. Supported by the Foundation for the Preservation of Wildlife and Cultural Assets (FPWC), the event once again proved to be a powerful platform for raising public awareness about the urgent need for environmental protection.
This year’s festival, which took place from May 24th to 28th in Yerevan, attracted dozens of environmental organizations and hundreds of guests, all united by a shared mission: to explore the challenges and solutions in safeguarding our planet. Attendees were particularly engaged with the festival’s key theme—how everyday consumer choices, such as clothing production, contribute to climate change.
Highlights of the Festival:
● 30 Films from Around the World: The diverse selection of films shed light on global environmental issues, from deforestation to pollution, offering new perspectives on how we can collectively address these challenges.
● Interactive Workshops and Exhibitions: The festival featured several hands-on workshops and thought-provoking exhibitions, providing attendees with practical tools and creative ideas for protecting the environment.
● A Collaborative Spirit: The festival fostered a vibrant sense of community, with environmental organizations, experts, and the public coming together to share knowledge, insights, and a collective passion for a more sustainable future.
The 12th Sunchild Festival successfully raised awareness and sparked meaningful conversations about the future of environmental conservation, thanks to the collaborative efforts of our partners and participants. This year's event has set the stage for continued progress, and we look forward to building on the momentum to further advance our mission.
