The daily work of rangers at the Caucasus Wildlife Refuge (CWR) is often unseen, yet absolutely vital. To witness this work firsthand, Ralph Yirikian, CEO of Ucom, visited the refuge.
Ucom is a trusted partner of the Foundation for the Preservation of Wildlife and Cultural Assets (FPWC) and plays a key role in supporting our conservation efforts. As part of this collaboration, Ucom has provided two off-road vehicles to our rangers, ensuring mobility in hard-to-reach and rugged terrain.
In addition, FPWC’s high-capacity monitoring cameras, combined with Ucom’s high-speed internet connectivity, allow us to more effectively combat illegal poaching, monitor biodiversity, and respond rapidly to forest fires.
FPWC and Ucom will continue their partnership in the shared mission of protecting Armenia’s natural heritage.
