On February 17, 2016 the Foundation for the Preservation of Wildlife and Cultural Assets (FPWC) participated at Conference entitled “Environmental Education in Armenia: Current Situation and Future Prospects”.
The FPWC Deputy Director Eva Martirosyan presented FPWC’s key environmental education projects such as SunChild Eco-Clubs Network – the first alternative environmental education network in Armenia, SOS Culture, Green School Project, PanArmenian Painting Contest, Dreamnight at Yerevan Zoo and many others. She also referred to Urtsadzor Eco-Center, as a unique platform for outdoor environmental education and research. The presentation featured “Living with Dust” documentary, authored by Urtsadzor “sunchildren”. Armenia’s Environmental Education Network’s (EEN) newly launched website was introduced to the participants at the conference.
FPWC is an EEN member since 2014.
