This year, "Yeghegis Fest" has transcended the boundaries of a traditional local celebration, transforming into a key international platform where the green agenda, ecotourism, and wildlife conservation are seamlessly integrated with the socio-economic empowerment strategy for local communities. The primary objective of the festival is to demonstrate that human-wildlife coexistence and ecological responsibility can serve as a powerful driving force for local economic development.

The festival is organized within the framework of the project "Mitigating the Escalating Climate Change-Driven Human-Wildlife Conflict in Armenia." The event is implemented with the support of the UK Government’s Darwin Initiative and the Tourism Committee of the RA Ministry of Economy, alongside funding from the Bears in Mind foundation.
