With the support of Ucom, a new AI-powered monitoring camera has been installed in the Twin Lakes area, serving the conservation of the Caucasus Wildlife Refuge (CWR) as well as the adjacent "Khosrov Forest" State Reserve.

The new camera will enable 24/7 monitoring of hard-to-reach and environmentally sensitive areas. High resolution, day and night shooting modes, and artificial intelligence algorithms will make it possible to observe wildlife without interfering with the animals' natural life or disturbing them.

The artificial intelligence system can quickly record movement and unusual activity, enabling ranger services to respond promptly to illegal entry or other potential threats. At the same time, the gathered data will help form a more comprehensive understanding of animal movements in the area and changes occurring in the ecosystem.

The application of modern monitoring technologies is particularly crucial in areas such as the Caucasus Wildlife Refuge and "Khosrov Forest" State Reserve, where Armenia’s unique ecosystems and rare wildlife habitats are protected.
